On the road to Tuscola, The 2006 Trojan Guard endued a tough 2 weeks of practice consisting of  three concussions, and one chipped tooth.  But they finished their show, "Color Me Rock" on Friday night and headed south.  At Tuscola, the guard put on a strong three minute routine and placed First with a 73.9 ahead of Johnston City and Quincy Notre Dame.  In the Flag Show, the guard definitely did themselves proud and scored a 72.9, about 5 points shy of the 78 needed to qualify for state competition.  A little more rehearsal and a lot more confidence and the guard will surely qualify their flag show in the coming weeks.
