I am the Director of Bands and Vocal Music at Dwight Township High School. My duties include the Marching Trojans , the Dwight Pep Band , the Concert Band, the Dwight Jazz Band, Jazz Show and the Dwight Trojan Guard. I also teach "4th Grade Keyboarding", "Achieve", "Credit Recovery" and "Yearbook Photography"

At the present time, we have 45 students enrolled in band for the 2012-2013 school year. Not bad for a school with a total student population of 290! The Marching Trojans consisted of 46 members!
We are members of the Interstate Eight Conference and have students attend the Interstate Eight Honors Concert Band Festival each year as well as IMEA and Solo and Ensemble Contest.  We have 2 concerts throughout the year as well as a full Pep Band Schedule.  Second semester we start Jazz Band and produce the "JAZZ SHOW" on the last weekend before graduation.
